Ms. Khyati, Head of Phase 1, is a committed educationist at heart. With a decade of work experience in the domain of early years and specialized qualification in Early Childhood Care and Education, she brings passion, innovation and persistent attitude in developing Phase 1 at Sabari Indian School.
She believes that every child deserves the best possible start in life and the support to fulfill his / her full potential. They develop and learn in different ways and at different rates. Therefore, as educators, we provide them with a stimulating learning environment offering them varied, hands-on, relevant opportunities to engage, enquire, explore, extend, evaluate, innovate, share and succeed.
All Early Years’ curriculum is benchmarked against international standards. Children’s learning in Phase 1 occurs through inquiry and purposeful play. Play is the means through which children find stimulation, well-being, and happiness. Inquiry-based learning involves developing questions, making observations, doing research to find out information, which in turn helps children build real-life connections and construct knowledge in the learning domains of literacy, numeracy and the world around them.
